Grocon are responsible for the physical development of The Hyde commencing in 2007 with the construction of a ‘display apartment’ at the pre-existing site. After demolition of the ‘display apartment’ a six month excavation process followed for the seven level basement car park. Construction of the new building took 22 months and involved 65 Grocon personnel ranging from construction supervisors, engineers, project managers and many on-site labourers. During the construction a floor was poured every four working days. This fast cycle time is a prime example of the teamwork that existed throughout the project between Grocon’s project staff, the employed tradesmen and sub-contractors. Grocon have continually provided assistance and back up since the first residents moved into The Hyde in August, 2010. Grocon have over 50 years of experience creating innovative landmarks and are fully responsible for the construction of this prestigious beautifully built residential complex with world class facilities.
